Field trip to Mothership Meat Company. Pork Bellies were sublime, washed down with tap Shiner Bock.

A visit to an old haunt. Jeremy's Ale House.

Bras on the ceiling. Just like the now closed Hogs and Heifers.

Shiner Bock on tap.

Did one of those tourist cruises, they always get close to the Statue of Liberty.

Always beautiful.

Next day, downtown. The 9/11 Water Memorial is now open without getting on a line.

Magic Hat was the beer for the day.

Day Lily.

Happy Father's Day!

Shaft was a mixed bag. Some good lines but mostly uneven. Hey, there's Titus Welliver , he was Silas Adams in Deadwood.

Mimosas!

75 years ago today.

Queens distribution for Much Ado About Nothing. Rain was forecast but never came.

John's Pizza was nearby. A classic, old-school slice.

Coriolanus is next. Never read it or saw it, looking forward to it.

A real nice production. Danielle Brooks and Grantham Coleman make a fine pairing in their witty sparring as Beatrice and Benedick. Chuck Cooper was superb as Leonato.

Two observations: 1) Play starts and ends with Marvin Gaye's "What's going on";2) the help in this Atlanta mansion act and look like the help in Get Out. Except when dancing, and the dance sequences are quite good.

Deadwood: The Movie
