Quick read, quite good. Be in the moment is the recurring theme.

Corn is back. Small but delicious!

Perry Mason is okay, not great but a decent procedural. Terrific production values. I try to avoid series but since I am a fan of the old TV series, I had to check it out. John Lithgow is great and I remember Matthew Rhys from an old Columbo: IMDB - He played Justin Price in Columbo: Columbo Likes the Nightlife (2003) and is therefore the final actor to play a murderer who was investigated by Peter Falk's Lt. Columbo.

Using the Empire State building to launch fireworks was brilliant.

Ennio Morricone, RIP.

Happy July 4th !

Fortitude at NYC Library.

I saw Hamilton in Chicago and was taken with King George III. Now that I have seen Jonathan Groff, I am even more impressed.

Had a gift certificate and The Biggest Bluff: How I Learned to Pay Attention, Master Myself, and Win by Maria Konnikovawas not available.

In my library, time for a re-read. Published in 1973.

Despite the title, a deep-dive into classical rhetoric. A book I will give my interns.

I already had Disney+ for The Mandalorian, now I can stream Hamilton. Great way to start off the Fourth of July weekend.

Last week two in a row: $17.50 and $21.

An appropriate wine for the weekend.
