Queens Restaurant Week 2009 starts October 5th and runs
through October 15th . The locations.



Saturday October 3 for tastings. Harvest Moon
that night.



Friday October 2 - Sunday October 11 at the Shake Shack. Beers available include Wolaver's Will Stevens' Pumpkin Ale and Otter Creek's Oktoberfest.

Two Autobiographies on the read list.



John Osborne is an interesting character. Never knew
he contributed so much to the movie Tom Jones.



Got to the market late, boy it was crowded.



Golden tomatoes. Picked up raspberries, corn, Blue Fish
peaches and tomatoes



Brooklyn Brewery Shackmeister Ale was available
at my local distributor. It is custom made for Shake Shacks
and is sold at Citi-Field. It is a nice brew. Reviews have been kind.


Blue Point is a great brewery. Oktoberfest is
quite tasty
