All over the place, Daniel Kahneman has given multiple interviews. My recent readings in randomness and heuristics keep referring to him. I guess I have to check at the source. Barnes and Noble discounts put it at about half-price. Time Magazine recently asked him ten questions. Here is my favorite:

Has your research changed the way you live?

When you analyze happiness, it turns out that the way you spend your time is extremely important. Decisions that affect how much time you spend with people you like are going to have a very large effect on how happy you are--not necessarily satisfied with your life but happy. So yes, I've learned things.

A different taste for the weekend. I like the Toasted Lager and a Twelve-Pack of Coors Long Necks was $10.99.

March Madness in full swing. It is B-Ball up the wall all weekend.

I like books. I was born and bred among them, and have the easy feeling, when I get in their presence, that a stable-boy has among horses.--O.W. HOLMES.

Earthquakes and Tsumanis. I told you the Perigee moon was coming.

Went to Wildwood for a brew. Abita Amber, a quick light Amber.
Real nice Spring Brew.

Went to City Crab for their Two-Course lunch special.
Crab Soup and a real big hunk of Sea Bass over Risotto.
Only $16.95, with a Blue Point Toasted Lager, $7. A terrific
lunch that didn't kill the budget. Linguini with Scallops, $16.95,
with salad and a Pinot Grigio , $10, was the other course. $65
including tip. Not bad.
