2019 looks to be a year of major changes. May not have a job by the end of the year. All is good, my landing will be fine.

Ambrose Bierce was last heard from in a letter to his secretary and companion, Carrie Christiansen — dated December 1913, and bearing a Chihuahua, Mexico, postmark — writing to her:

“If you hear of my being stood up against a Mexican wall and shot to rags, please know that I think it’s a pretty good way to depart this life. It beats old age, disease, or falling down the cellar stairs. To be a Gringo in Mexico — ah, that is euthanasia.”

The opening of Twilight Zone: The Movie is great. Nice touch having Burgess Meredith do the movie's narration. I may lose SyFy in the middle of the marathon due to a dispute between Spectrum and NBC.



Kick the Can directed by Steven Spielberg is the best segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie. One character paraphrases Hamlet:"There is a destiny that shapes our ends, rough hewn though it may be."

Seems like a waste to use Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial on Mimosas, but I like the taste and this is the only Champagne in the Fridge. The Twilight Zone, The Rip Van Winkle Caper in the Background.



Lots of Buffalo Wild Wings left over. Their Dry Rub Buffalo style is outstanding.

By mistake, I threw out the Amazon Gift Card I received. Thankfully, my brother found it and is sending it. Will use it for buying the HR Block tax program.



I always buy myself the Dilbert Box Calender. I wait for the 50% off in Barnes and Noble. I also have the wall calender and January celebrates "False Sense of Urgency." I buy my entire staff Box Calenders and have been doing it for years.

TZ Marathon on Syfy has begun.



Also on the viewing schedule : The Honeymooners' Marathon. 38 out of the 39 in original broadcast order. Only missing "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." I will watch "Young at Heart" to see Art Carney do the Hucklebuck.



Atomic Wings and Knish Nosh Franks and Knishes are on the menu tonight.
