Paraskevidekatriaphobia , we have three this year. One more in March and another in November.



No Valentine's Day for me but I will have a Bloody Mary and a Truffle in honor of my late wife. All-star games are not my thing but icy weather and snow makes this a stay-in weekend. It is being played in NY. Beer and wine on the menu.

Went to Outback last night. It may be a chain but it is the best chain yet. Great Margaritas too.



Oscars v. NBA All-Star Game. Well, this B-Ball fan will be watching the Oscars after the first half. Why ? Because the All-Star game sucks ! Face it, the game is not worth watching. The Dunk contest last night was horrible. So was the Three Point contest.

The game is never in competition with The Oscars but is so tonight because of the abbreviated season. I watch the Oscars because I love the pure phoniness of it all. I will check out the All-Star score during commercials. Haven't seen any of the nominated films. The only movie I want to see is Tinker, Tailor...
