Last stab at Restaurant Week, Ruth's Chris Steak House at Times Square. The Filet with the Shrimp was excellent. A terrific RW selection. The list should be out soon of the places that will extend to Labor Day.



Jeremy Narby looks into Nature , Shamanism and Culture. More philosophic than scientific but interesting stuff nonetheless.

Restaurant Week list of participants is now out. I'm saddened to see no Smith and Wollensky. It was a great deal and one I always went to. Now, I guess I'll have to go to Delmonico's. All the other top NYC Steakhouses are in ( Well, no Old Homestead or Peter Luger's but they were never in.)

Restaurant Weeks: July 22 - August 16, $25 Lunch and $38 Three-Course Dinner menus at over 300 of the city's best restaurants. Can't wait, will try a few new places this year. NYCGO will have the participating Restaurants and menus by July 8th.
