Nice Thirties comedy on TCM this morning. Roland Young is great as "Sahib." Douglas Fairbanks Jr. is also engaging. Fairbanks had an incredible WWII record.

No more peaches, alas corn about to stop. Silver Queen is preferred. This was a good year.

Books on my bed mean currently being read or about to be read.

Again, Road Deer. This one didn't move and just looked.

Family Day at the Scout Camp. This is what they spend the summer living in. Activities were: BBQ, shooting - target, Skeet and Archery. I'm still a pretty good shot.

The pool is first-class. The slide is fast.

Ferns in the sun. The quiet of woods was remarkable. Like a snow-storm, ambient noise is muffled.

Amphitheater. On the way back, a Flea Market in Smallwood, NY had peaches, tomatoes and corn. All very good, especially the Silver Queen Corn.
