I don't really watch new series, don't have the patience or time. But, Westworld seemed right up my alley. It was. Binge-watched episodes 1-8 yesterday, will be caught up by tonight. AI and a theory of consciousness: thought-provoking stuff.

Saw Ready Player One. Too long and too busy. But, look at many things I missed: Easter Eggs.

Lots of similarities, besides the haircuts, shared by the character F'Nale Zandor played by Hannah John-Kamen of Ready Player One and  Luv played by Sylvia Hoeks in Blade Runner 2049

was terrific in Blade Runner 2049. The movie was long and complex. It certainly makes you think. Visuals were stunning.

Nabokov’s “Pale Fire” is part of the action:

Cells interlinked within cells interlinked
Within one stem. And dreadfully distinct
Against the dark, a tall white fountain played.
