Davy's at Mount Arlington, New Jersey for Breakfast on the way and Lunch on the way back. A classic Roadside place, easy access on and off Route 80 and next to a Gas Station.

Golf was great, just what I needed. Weather could not have been better, didn't even have to use the pool.

Cards and Beer were also on the agenda. Won both nights. Landshark and Coronas were the choices. Re: Landshark from a 2009 post - "Landshark is made by Anheuser-Busch, but claims it
is brewed by the Margaritaville Brewing Co. Sort of like Blue Moon and Coors, anything to make you buy. It was an OK beer, reminded me of a Corona - light, not much flavor but
a quick drinking refreshing pop. They also favor putting a Lime in it. Got to prevent scurvy, I guess.

Of course, the name comes from an old Saturday Night Live skit."

You have to love a place where you can get the papers, coffee and Live Bait from a vending machine.

Picked up a nice piece of Striped Bass from P.E. and D.D. Seafood. Went real early, 7:30 a.m. I think that will be my new routine, no lines, good fish available and no money for parking.

Shiner Ruby Redbird is the weekend Beer.

August 1, 2009 - Golf Trip

Had good weather and played 28 holes.

I like walking a course but a cart came with the
package.

The pool was a welcome treat after finishing.

Beer was mostly Bud Light and Yuengling ,oldest
operating brewing company in the United States. The
bar featured Landshark Lager on tap.

Also had Filet Mignon for dinner. After Smith and Wollensky,
and good craft beer, the steak and brew were downgrades,
but hey, it was still good.
