Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more..Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, and go to the free stuff on 24th street. Ciao Bella Blood Orange Sorbet was superb.

Still a nice, quiet walk.

Saw a bunch of people today running in Kangoo Jumps.

It's Union Square, a protest fits in with the history.

Sunflowers in the sun.

Philip K. Dick's works inspired so many movies, this is another one : The Adjustment Bureau. Great line from the article: "Of all American writers, none have got the genre-hack-to-hidden-genius treatment quite so fully as Philip K. Dick..."

A free rental from Redbox. Matt Damon is a good actor who makes even bad movies better.

Staycation Broadway visit: Sister Act. Didn't like the movie, don't think I'll like this, but I'm going to cheer up a friend who is going through Chemo and wants to see it. Ropa Vieja at Victor's Cafe beforehand will make things better. TKTS will make the price more palatable.

Summer Streets continues. A little more crowded this week.

The free stuff at 24th Street is worth a visit. Today they had Ciao Bella Lemon Sorbet cups, yogurt, Tea, Apple Sauce Squeeze Packs and Cheese. Sponsored by Whole Foods.

I have heard good things about Chipolte Mexican Grill. Mmm, tasty.

Interesting piece in front of Barbounia.

Andy in the sun.

Just finished the Novel True Grit. I will watch the Coen Brothers version first.

Someone had given me the John Wayne version several Christmases ago. Never watched it, now I will.

I now know why Blockbuster went out of business. Forget about Netflix, a supermarket Kiosk gave me three DVDs for $2.50. Hear this flick is GrerrrGerrate.

Horror is a big staple in this house. Never heard of this movie but will give it a try.

$11.99 a twelve-Pak, Official start of vacation beer. No travel: Movies, Books, BBQ and NYC Restaurant Week ,extended version, on the agenda.

This is where my nineteen year-old will be tomorrow: Shwayze at Governor's Island. I console myself with the fact that at seventeen I attended Woodstock.

Nothing like selling lemonade in front of 222 Park Avenue South.
