Kelly Gissendaner and Gregory Owen conspired to kill her husband with Owen actually doing the deed.

When both were arrested they were offered plea bargains which would guarantee them only life sentences. Owen took the offer, but Gissendaner’s lawyer talked Gissendaner into refusing the offer since he never thought a jury would hand down the death sentence.

Due to this difference, Gregory Owen is serving a life sentence but is up for parole in eight years, while Kelly Gissendaner’s death sentence was carried out with her singing Amazing Grace as she faded and died .

I'm having bad luck with Toshiba laptops. My first one was a touch screen and it developed a cracked screen. The local computer guy said he couldn't fix it and no replacements available. Also, with the cost, just get a new one. Saved the data and bought a new one, but with insurance this time.

Well... it developed hard drive failure. Since it was still under warranty I have to ship it to Toshiba,$29.99 for shipping and box, the insurance reimburses. Data lost, but I had backed up the important stuff.

My local Stop and Shop has a great beer section. They also have a roll-your-own six pack for $10.99. So, I took four Oktoberfests (Sam Adams the only one that uses "C"), a Shiner Bock and a Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. I am looking forward to Sierra Nevada and Brooklyn Oktoberfests.

Woman Yes?
Man Burglar, madam.
Woman What do you want?
Man I want to come in and steal a few things, madam.
Woman Are you an encydopaedia salesman?
Man No madam, I'm a burglar, I burgle people.
Woman I think you're an encyclopaedia salesman.
Man Oh I'm not, open the door, let me in please.
Woman If I let you in you'll sell me encyclopaedias.
Man I won't, madam. I just want to come in and ransack the flat. Honestly.
Woman Promise. No encyclopaedias?
Man None at all.
Woman All right. (she opens door) You'd better come in then.
Man enters it through door.
Man Mind you I don't know whether you've really considered the advantages of owning a really fine set of modern encyclopaedias...(he pockets valuable) You know, they can really do you wonders.
Cut back to man at desk.
Man That man was a successful encyclopaedia salesman.

Huge influence on Monty Python was Spike Milligan. On his grave: Duirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite, Irish for "I told you I was ill."
