The original Mad Max is still good. Road Warrior is still the best.

Yesterday's 70 degrees must have ignited the Flowering Pear Trees. Forsythias will be next.

Looks good: Machiavelli: The Art of Teaching People What to Fear by Patrick Boucheron.

I wanted The Decameron, but had to order it. A perfect book for this Coronavirus outbreak.

Bullfighting, Opera, Prostitutes, search for sexuality: this sounds like The Sun Also Rises on steroids.

The Decker building: Andy Warhol had his Factory on the sixth floor of this building from 1968 through 1973.

The flowering pear trees are in full bloom.

Happy Easter !

Candy after 40 days of fasting.

80° plus today.

Take-out Easter with $5 coupon.

Forsythias starting to really bloom.

The Pear trees are ready for their short splendor.

Puffy's, an old hang-out revisited. Still the same but the killer juke-box is gone.

From a roof-top, downtown.

Sure sign of Spring: Ramps. I didn't buy any, went with Spring Garlic instead.

Flowering Pear trees almost in full bloom.

The Flowering Pear trees are in bloom throughout NYC. A short shelf life but beautiful.

Easter dinner will be Boston Market Ham and Chicken. My wife used to do the honors. I am a good cook but chicken and mashed potatoes is beyond my skill-set. I guess I could learn but Boston Market works for me.

I love a good true crime tale, Philip Leonetti's Mafia Prince was $10 after coupon and member discount.

Taxes and FAFSA, I need Beer. Good thing Corona was on sale, $12.99 a twelve-pack.

Forest Hills Greenmarket is back. Not much there for now but it gives me a good Sunday place later.

Flowers everywhere. Won't last long.

Flowering Pear Trees are all over, beautiful while they last.

Overcast dreary day. Waiting for the Monsoon.

That's P.E. and D.D. Seafood. Bought Flounder again.

Of course it's Spring, Ramps are here. Ridiculous price of $3 a bunch. I did buy one, made a Mushroom, Wine, Lime Juice, Red Pepper, Garlic, and Ramp Sauce for the Flounder. It was excellent.

Another sign of Spring, Flowering Pear Tree.

I've declared this Citrus in Beer Weekend. Coronitas with Limes and Shock Top with Oranges. Got to do all you can to stave off Scurvy.

Smuttynose Robust Porter. A wonderful beer. Went to
Brouwerij Lane for a Growler and it is about the best Porter
I have ever had.

Leo's Latticini in Corona is where I buy my lasagna noodles.
46-02 104th St, Queens, NY 11368. Their Mozzarella is out of this
world. I also bought their new product - Half Moon Raviolis.
Fantastic dish, the fillings are similar to what is used for Stuffed
Shells, rather than the regular Ravioli fillings.

Spring has surely sprung, I believe this is a flowering Pear Tree.

Same as above. On 108th Street, on the way to Leo's Latticini
the trees are lined up in full bloom.

Forsythias blooming throughout Queens.
