The NCAA selections are announced tonight at six. The NCAA Division One finals are always great. Now, all games are available. Will be filling out my bracket soon.



Had some good German beer yesterday. The Schneider Aventinus Wheat-Doppelbock, purple tap, was my favorite.

The Village Voice has a good article this week on NYC BBQ. Includes a mention of Robert Pearson , who was slinging Texas style Brisket in LIC in the nineties. The Legends Bar in Jackson Heights still follows his technique.



St. Patrick's Day weekend starts today with some Soda Bread and Irish Coffee.

Leftovers from St. Pat's day.



Bought some Fuji Apples at the Greenmarket yesterday and was given a slice of Cameo Apple. It was great, tried to buy one and they told me enjoy. An Apple buy-back, outstanding.



My bracket got injured but it is still alive, 86th Percentile. Linsanity is back ! People wrote him off, now for the resurrection as just a good player. This is the best time for B-Ball, the remote is going to need new batteries. The Time magazine cover was for the Foreign market and was not in the one I received.



Georgetown killed my Bracket. It was an odd pick on my part but that was what I went with. Lets see how my other picks go.

The month of March is a busy one for me : St. Patrick's day
and March Madness Basketball. I also play in a March Madness work Tournament.



Beer for the night is Ithaca Nut Brown. From the Brewery Web site:
