Finishing up Woodstock week. Ordered the above shirt. Gives time and set-list of The Band at Woodstock. Cool shirt. Deep Tracks on SiriusXM is only playing Woodstock Band songs for the weekend.

One last Summer streets visit. A walk to Grand Central from the Greenmarket.

Richie Havens at Woodstock. The Director's cut featured Handsome Johnny and Freedom. Just great.

“This is a little thing called 'I'm Going Home' -- by helicopter.” I was there.

Grace Slick has beautiful Blue eyes.

Iconic photo, I knew the woman with the broom.

Ok, ordered the 40th Anniversary six CD set.

I am cooking with Gas, found this iconic picture. I know the woman with the broom.

Summer Streets finishes today. I went to the tunnel with ocean noises. Not that great but the walk around Grand Central Station was great.

Crazy in that I was looking for this wine and I stumbled upon it in a place nearby.

45th Anniversary starts today. Will pick up the Director's cut DVD that was put out for the 40th and watch it this weekend. My I-Pod is playing songs from the CD, crazy with the announcements interspersed.

From my recent visit to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and the original site. Interesting that this year the dates match the Festival schedule: Friday the 15th, 1969 being the first day. Wild year that 1969: Man on the Moon, Mets World Series and the start of College for me.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts was interesting but a short film about the music and the artists was the best part of it.

Road Trip. Went to an old Swimming Hole.

An old Fishing Hole deep in the back woods.

Wild Blueberries, tart and delicious.

James Brown - Full T.A.M.I Show Performance, 1964 , featured in a New Yorker piece.

Summer Streets very crowded. Nicer day.

Peaches in the Sun.

Was going up to Bethel Woods next week but a death in the family caused a cancellation. Maybe in September.

Last day of Summer Streets, crowded.

In honor of the the 44th Anniversary of Woodstock I bought Santana's THE EARLY SAN FRANCISCO YEARS - ANTHOLOGY '68 - '69. Some good cuts, a bandana and a poster included in this Three CD set.

Interesting book. The Modell's story on how to listen to your staff and the Eminem Interview were worth the price of admission.

Manhattan Bridge Construction from 1909.

"I wish you was a wishing well, so I could tie a bucket to you and sink you."

Father Duffy: When did an Irishman need a prayer in a fight?

Only forty-three years ago. Have to break out my Woodstock CD.

January 1, 2009 - Yup That's a nine

New Year's Eve Tastings. Dark to brown.
A little Champagne, and Mimosas in the a.m.

This was good.

Not quite as tasty as Sierra Nevada.

A real nice package.

Crisp and clean.
