When NYC enters Phase 2, I'll get a haircut. You can get one at Nassau or Suffolk counties. Lots of barbers paying private visits. I'll wait and my hair is a mess.

This old flower shot certainly reminds me of COVID-19.

COVID-19 still dominates all facets of living. About to go Senior shopping.

I received a $10 credit from Amazon, time for Plague books. Albert Camus is a terrific writer, great observations. Looking forward to Defoe's Journal. The 1918 Spanish flu seems like something I should know more about. That is 1918 not 1917!

A company that deep-cleans. They did my office and section the other day. Great job, even smells clean. I am now resolving to keep a clean desk.

A sign of the times.

At least my local pizzaria is still pumping out good stuff,

Real long line at the Union Square Greenmarket. Had to wait about a 1/2 hour to get my fish, mushrooms and scallions.

This Survivor season is one of the best. Go Tony!

COVID-19 still dominates every waking hour. Evryone is morphing into let's get back but the virus is still out there and spreading. NYC is the lab and us rats are still jumpy.

COVID-19 keeps dominating in NY, especially Queens. Hope they start mass testing soon. I'm trying to keep my spirits up and ZOOM with friends is helping.

Awaiting a cancelled Plane trip refund. First time I noticed that Expedia runs Orbitz. Really great that they take your money right away, and put on the brakes when you try to get it back. A cancelled graduation led to cancelled plans and reservations. I received the hotel and car rental fees about thirty days later. Ticketmaster sent me A-10 ticket fees about a month later also. Now, I have sent a cancellation form for an Orbitz/American Airlines plane reservation. Did it over a month ago and I did buy the insurance. They say call 72 hours before if not done by then. Horrible, I am dreading the ordeal to come and listening to canned music that switches and drops the call 30 minutes later.

I don't see Cuomo's briefings during the work week because of the timing. I do see a lot of Trump's show because it plays in the early evening. Wow, what a difference. Andrew is quite good and the president is not. Don't get me wrong, the President has done some positive things but boy : the delivery ,the complaints about Governors lack of graditude, the support for the "Liberate" movemant and the partisanship make his briefings bizarre.

Report from the field: 1)great driving, no traffic - only downside is people are driving like maniacs and changing a lane is dangerous;2)Food and groceries more expensive but gas prices are way down- a push;3) More masks, more social distancing and gloves everywhere.

Started this one. Interesting so far.

March 5, 2020 was a different world. Look at where we are a month later. I am in the epicenter of the epicenter. I go to work every day as the point-person for the rest of my staff who are working at home. The work I do is deemed essential. Lots of people coming down with it. I pray that it is the mild version.

Grocery Stores becoming careful. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods were ahead of the curve in this regard. I have to applaud Stop and Shop for their senior hours.

Comfort brought Comfort.

Nature keeps on going on, cherry blossoms are back for their short visit.

Always time for BBQ. I am trying an interesting range of take-out spots. This one had Avocado fries.

Fewer places to get the lottery tickets but I found some. Last night: $20 win and two free tickets.

Learning Video Conferencing on the fly. Have to get workmates up to speed and some just ain't mission capable for now. Zoom looks like what we will adopt. My work is trying to install and distribute Webex but that is going slow. On Friday I joined a virtual a cocktail hour with friends ,via facetime, and yesterday was a birthday get-together for a nephew on Zoom.

Work cleaning supplies.

Greenmarkets enforcing social distances.
