Forest Hills Greenmarket has to be my visit site, no time to get to Union Square. The Holiday market is now open at Union Square.

Cancer is taking over the body of my spouse. Going to be rough for the next few months. Visiting nurses and Home Health Aides will be available and I think I am covered. Got to check.

Bleu Cheese wins in a romp over the Packers. Hope the Knicks bring their A-Game tonight.

The Gail Collins obsession with Mitt Romney's dog Seamus is hilarious. Has a mention in today's column.

Fingerlings in the Sun.

Pizza place off of Union Square had this statue out front.

Tonight it will be Seafood Linguine. P.E. and D.D. Seafood had Crabs for $5.50 a pound. That, Shrimp, Scallops and Squid will be the ingredients.

Never went there and at $8.99 a jar, wouldn't try it. Today it was on sale for $4.99 a jar. It is very good sauce but still too expensive.

They tied up the Brooklyn Bridge and then walked to the U.N. China is making their lives miserable. They are self-immolating again.

Don't Forget. It's now done earlier and before Spring.

Yes, it is Daylight Saving Time.

Horrible game last night. We need Chandler. The two big guys above have to improve. Stat looks like he is starting to come out of his funk.

Giants Super Bowl DVD is now in the collection.

A recent gift, hope it brings good luck.

Big game tomorrow. Cooking up a storm today. Chili, Pizza, hot sausage, pigs in blankets and ordering 100 wings.

R.I.P. Ben Gazzara.

Picked up the book to read before watching the DVD. Already can't believe that Beane was enamored with Nick Swisher.

Sunday will be huge. Super Bowl if the Giants win.

A little pricey but will be making Bloodies tomorrow.

Guy was really good on the makeshift drums.

Restaurant Week visit, Ben and Jack's on Fifth Avenue. A Peter Luger clone and damn good.

Went tourist and visted Ruby Foo's off of Times Square.

Nice joint.

The food was good and the dessert was special.

The Christmas Tree is up and looks good.

Simple Ornaments and not too crowded.

One year when I lived alone this Snowman was the only decoration on a large tree. Minimalist.

Tonight will be my night of the Seven BBQs. Inspired by the Italian Feast of Seven Fishes, I will use Astoria's MexiQ to provide the vittles. I will also cook up a Pork Roast and serve with Carolina Mustard Sauce.

A coupon with 25% off on top of my 20% member's discount inspired this last minute purchase. Read him in college and he wasn't so good after Slaughterhouse Five. Saw him at an intermission of Alan Alda's play QED about Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman.

The new Winter Edible Queens is out. It features a story on a Shop, Aigner Chocolates , that I pass by every day.

On Ovation TV, the final vote is tonight. I voted for “Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker!"

The Giants need this one bad. I need for them to win so I don't have to listen to Jets fans.

Biggest game of the year tonight. Go Giants !

Watched the Republican debate last night. Felt sorry for my country. Best part was Romney offering Rick Perry a $10,000 bet : “I’m not in the betting business,” Mr. Perry said.

Nut Rocker by B. Bumble and the Stingers is now on my Holiday playlist.

Georges Seurat's painting,"A Sunday on La Grande Jatte," and a re-creation.

Well, it isn't time to jump off the ship yet. Just a win today and another afterwards and we're in.

Go Giants ! Will miss the game on TV, I will be on the road. Giants games can always be heard on WFAN (660 AM) in New York.

Miserable day outside but a terrific Sports day inside. Only downsides were the Yankees loss and US Open delay.

USA Beats Turkey in FIBA Championship. Great game. Kevin Durant was awesome.

Giants start the season off right. It was hairy for a half and then a laugher.

Have to wait for tomorrow for Novak Djokovic v. Rafael Nadal. Will watch it and the Jets /Ravens game.

R.I.P Giants Season. Plaxico, we needed you.

This was OK, sort of a beer you want to drink during the Summer
on a dock with the Sun beating down. Reminded me of Genny Cream Ale.

I went to College in Ohio. Genesee Cream Ale was worshiped
by many Mid-Westeners.

Dogfish Head continues to hit them out of the park.
This one had a ton of flavor and might be the best I've had yet.

New 24 season starts tonight. Too many commercials but
this is great TV.
