I'm glad for the day off.

Now North by Northwest is on TCM on-demand. I can watch what I missed the other day. Of course, when Thornhill is at Chicago airport, he goes to the Northwest Airlines area.

Roger Thornhill: In the world of advertising, there's no such thing as a lie. There's only expedient exaggeration.

as "The Professor" put him in good stead for spymaster Alexander Waverly on The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

From Russia with Love owes many things to North by Northwest including the Grey Suit and the helicopter scene.

Happy President's Day ! I'm happy with a day off. Think I will do Hill Country's Pitmaster. I enrolled my Amex card and will get a $5 credit. $20 for a BBQ Feast ! Lone Star beer on the side included.

The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park announced this season's plays : MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING with Lily Rabe as Beatrice and Hamish Linklater as Benedick, KING LEAR with John Lithgow.

Hill Country Pitmaster with two sides and a Lone Star. Good stuff. Went to Hill Country Chicken up the block for sandwiches for dinner.

Happy President's Day !

It has been a while since I read any Fiction. The River Swimmer by Jim Harrison will be the next in line.

'Wichcraft has a nice sandwich:slow roasted cured pork shoulder, pepper relish & fontina on grilled country bread $9.87. Well, it is tasty but for almost ten bucks it is extremely light on the meat. Had a great Tomato soup with the Sandwich. Brought me back to my childhood where Soup and Sandwich were Lunch standards.

Presidents' Day at Union Square.

The NY Post is unbelievable. Tonight it's The Nets, where it all began.

Flowers in the sun.

By Brother Jimmy's BBQ.

By Gramercy Park.

Today was also "Bait and Switch" Parking rules Day. Only Alternate Side Parking was suspended and Meters still had to be fed. According to PVB only New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day , Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are Major Legal Holidays. Could have fooled me. I got tagged for $35.

The Nook Color has a lot of features. I'm still trying to learn how delete things. Maybe this Guide will help.
