Lousy calls at end of Arizona / Wisconsin game last night in OT. They spent five minutes reviewing and missed this ?? My son says maybe not reviewable.
The rule: Under the replay change, officials can use video review to confirm a shot-clock violation or determine who caused the ball to go out of bounds on a deflection involving two or more players in the final two minutes of regulation or overtime.
Not reviewable.
I agree with CBS commentators: should be a clock on review calls. BTW, great game nonetheless.

Wow, an 8K turnaround. Didn't realize I was a Qualified Head of Household Widower. I should have realized it but it is a great feeling to correct this and not have to pay 5K when they already take out so much. Now to change my W-4 and get almost $500 more each month. Only good in my case for tax years 2013 and 2014.
I still have two brackets going. One has Arizona, the other is Florida. Still, a great tournament. one of the best.
Making Philly Cheese-steaks tonight. Bought the Cheez-Whiz and will use London Broil as the steak.

Cool wine guide posted on The Big Picture.
My bracket is still alive but on life-support. I'm in the 72% range at the moment.
Work function last night to welcome new employees. Finally tried Sam Adams Cold Snap. A good one, it won't be around much longer.

The NCAA selections are announced tonight at six. The NCAA Division One finals are always great. Now, all games are available. Will be filling out my bracket soon.
Had some good German beer yesterday. The Schneider Aventinus Wheat-Doppelbock, purple tap, was my favorite.
Breakfast: Half and Half, Soda Bread and bangers.

Since St. Patrick's day is on a Monday, this is St. Patrick's Day weekend. Time for soda bread and Irish Coffee.
Went to the A-10 championships at the Barclays Center for two afternoon games. Nice arena, actually better than MSG.
Oh yeah, I am ready. Half and Halfs coming up with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as the bottom half. The name "Black and Tan" is not used in Ireland as a term for a mixture of two beers, the drink is instead referred to as a Half and half due to the association with the Royal Irish Constabulary Reserve Force, nicknamed the "Black and Tans", which was sent into Ireland in the early 1920s.

Came across Ernest Hemingway's Bloody Mary recipe:
“To make a pitcher of Blood Marys (any similar amount is worthless) take a good sized pitcher and put in it as big a lump of ice as it will hold. (This to prevent too rapid melting and watering of our product.) Mix a pint of good russian vodka and an equal amount of chilled tomato juice. Add a table spoon full of Worchester Sauce. Lea and Perrins is usual but can use AI or any good beef-steak sauce. Stir. (with two rs) Then add a jigger of fresh squeezed lime juice. Stirr. Then add small amounts of celery salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper. Keep on stirring and taste to see how it is doing. If you get it too powerful weaken with more tomato juice. If it lacks authority add more vodka.”
I like the line: "If it lacks authority add more vodka." I would also add Horseradish.
