On the way to my golf trip, Davy's.

Now with beer and liquor. Bloody Mary time.

I don't usually drink light beer, but it was so hot and the light beer, so much like water, was extremely refreshing.

A feather from a Red Tail Hawk.

Cattails.

Another Mourning Dove visitor.

Fish Tacos, Shrimp, Calamari and Scallops. Cheese, sauce and lettuce to be added.

The Drowning Pool was on-demand. Pretty wild stuff in New Orleans, the book ,which I read, was set in California. Great cast: and Accents from Hamilton and Franciosa were interesting.

Topgolf was worth visiting. Tracking of your shots by yardage and beer to drink between shots.

Faux Rialto Bridge in the background at The Venetian.

Sports Authority going out of business sale had 70% off. Slim pickings, but I did get a bunch of tees, a ball retriever and a water brush for under $20. Just in time for my annual golf trip. Next year will be the 20th anniversary of the event.

$20 win. I only play once a week, doing well so far.

On TCM on-demand, Michael Redgrave and his dummy Hugo make it worth watching. "Suitable only for Adults!"

Inspiration for Twilight Zone's Willie and Caesar. Both dummies in the Twilight Zone are the same according to Wikipedia.

Turns out that another Twilight Zone was inspired by Dead of Night: Twenty Two.

Colonel Rosa Klebb():her name is a pun on the popular Soviet phrase for women's rights, khleb i rozy (Cyrillic: хлеб и розы), which in turn was a direct Russian translation of the internationally used labour union slogan "bread and roses."

The participants and menus are out. Smith and Wollensky includes dinner and Sunday dining.

Dr. No: That's a Dom Perignon '55, it would be a pity to break it
James Bond: I prefer the '53 myself...

$15 win.

Corn and Blueberries, that is what I get at the Farmer's Market. Tomatoes are starting but the price is still a little too high.

Just cleared out one of two storage areas. Will save $109 a month. Should have done it a long time ago. Busted my butt today hauling stuff.

Happy 240th ! (Flag from inside the USS Arizona memorial)

"Sub-divisional grepple."

"Obscure metaphysical explanation to cover a phenomenon, reasons dredged out of the shadows to explain away that which cannot be explained. Call it parallel planes or just insanity. Whatever it is, you find it in the Twilight Zone."

Paul Grinstead: "That's a little metaphysical for me."

"You see, Mr. Simpson, a man, well, he'll walk right into Hell with both eyes open. But even the Devil can't fool a dog!"

Never knew straight pool is known as 14.1.

$25 win.

South Street Seaport under construction.

Pig Roast at a bar off of Fulton street. I like that they don't want to overcook the ears and tail.

Nick of Time will be broadcast on July 4th at 12:30 p.m. on the SyFy channel.

"Counterbalance in the little town of Ridgeview, Ohio. Two people permanently enslaved by the tyranny of fear and superstition, facing the future with a kind of helpless dread. Two others facing the future with confidence - having escaped one of the darker places of the Twilight Zone."

Just ordered the shirt from Horrormerch.com.

Blood Mary time !

Well...I made it up, not long, but enough to have a picture to prove it.

The Knicks look exciting again. Big if is staying healthy. I do like Noah, good D and plays hard. Lots of $ being thrown throughout the league at mid-level players.

First corn of the season, a little small but welcome nonetheless.

Sunflower.

Not always available, now it will be Sunday bloody Sunday.

Arthur Seaton: They have a television set and a packet of fags, but they're both dead from the neck up.
