Saw Cymbeline, great cast, Lily Rabe is amazing, Patrick Page and Raúl Esparza were terrific. Not that good of a play, but the cast went over the top trying to sell it.

Jersey Boys was a lot of fun, Tkts with 1/2 price tickets had great seats.
Sunday Morning did a piece on J.M.W. Turner and included scenes from Mr. Turner. Timothy Spall is always interesting. I downloaded the movie and will watch it later.

Pier 76 was the next stop on the Staten Island Pizza tour. This is an offshoot of Joe and Pat's. Jeremy Pappalardo, the owner, is the son of Gerry Pappalardo of Joe & Pat's. Thin, I mean thin crusts, are a Staten Island thing for their pies.
Flagship Summer Ale washed it down.
Piccola Venezia in Astoria is a classic old-school Italian Restaurant. Little things like free cookies with the coffee and homemade Grappa sealed the deal.

Tried the new Starbucks Brisket sandwich. Not worth another try, more like a bad Sloppy Joe on Toast. At least I received four bonus stars which qualifies me for a free drink today.
Here's a review from Texas Monthly BBQ:
"The only smoke comes in liquid form, the sandwich relies on the onions for heft much like the Taco Bell 99 cent menu relies on beans. The squishy layer of meat and onion paste is more of a distraction from an otherwise decent grilled cheese."

Luigi Pistilli as Groggy in For a Few Dollars More. He was Tuco's brother in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Kiss Me Deadly was wild with the blue suitcase. Intricate plotting, bonus was Jack Elam as a henchman.
Wesley Addy was cool.
