I looked outside my window and saw blue flashes. A transformer fire in Queens sent an eerie blue light flooding the nighttime sky.
One last tree shot.
Saks Fifth Avenue.
Local crèche.
Botticelli.
The Hershey Kisses are missing their tops.
The Maltese Falcon on TCM last night:
"Success to crime!"

December 25, 2018 - Merry Christmas!
Puerta Rican eggnog: Coquito. A New York Christmas tradition.
(I)t was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!
Breathing through the skin. wow!
For old time's sake, The Yule Log on WPIX, Channell 11 in NYC.

About to start my final round. I have to say Amazon makes things a lot easier, several gifts arriving next week.
PowerCore 20100, from ANKER is a gift that will go to a lot of relatives. I had a real problem while playing golf and my phone went dead. A work issue came up and I had to quit to recharge. Real meaningful because I only play once a year.
Bought a small tree at the Greenmarket. Bargained the price down from $35 to $25. My friend, the Snowman, now sits atop. Been with me a long time. When I lived alone, he was the only decoration.

It was 77 years ago.
No ASP for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. What about Hanukkah? Well, it's eight days, a minor holiday and not in the Bible. So say my Jewish colleagues.
The Unisphere.
Some money coming in, just in time for Christmas.
Great wreaths at the Greenmarket. I already bought one from the Boy Scouts.
