September 6, 2009

A local paper talked up the Jackson Heights Greenmarket , so I went. It is a nice, small market with lots of specialty Mexican produce.

I will go back for Hablano Peppers. The corn and tomatoes were not of Union Square quality.

American Seafood Inc. looks real good. Got a pound of Scallops
and 3/4 pound of Mako for $19. Will grill later and see. Looks
like a keeper and a reason to return.

Another reason to return, lots of street vendors. One had fresh
Churros at 50¢ a pop.
