Godfather Epic: 7 hours and 4 minutes, on HBO on demand, a perfect blizzard movie. It has the combined Godfather and Godfather II in chronological order with additional scenes. I watch movies at home with closed-captions along with the sound. You pick up little things like pezzonovante and stronzo.



Michael V. Gazzo as Frankie Pentangeli is just great.

Snow Day, but it's the weekend. A little more snow than expected. Will garage the car.



Thank God the Liquor store is close by. Wine for the weekend. I went to the grocery store last night for supplies.



Annual trip to the Grand Central Grand Hyatt.



Boy, moving my car to a garage seven hours ago was a great idea.

The "Ultimate Snow Day" Winter festival has been cancelled because of Snow.



News is dominated by Snow reports. Seems a little off for a now predicted 4-6 inches. The wind reports are what concerns me. I will probably put the car in a garage early Saturday just to be sure to avoid drifts.

Murder, My Sweet was on TCM last night. Mike Mazurki as Moose Malloy was terrific. The book was Farewell, My Lovely but the producers thought it sounded too much like a musical.
