July 3, 2009

Nice sunny day. Quite a few people for 9:00 a.m.

Still great flowers all over.

Blueberries are my favorite berry. Later,
the wild ones are available.

Fountain in the sun.

Got some Mako from the Pura Vida Boat.
Pura-Vida Fisheries Hampton Bays, NY.
Rick Lofstad is a 3rd generation fisherman whose family
hails from Norway. With his brother and cousins, the Lofstad
family owns 5 boats and harvests 2-3 million lbs. of fish annually.
“Pura Vida” translated “pure life” is a 55’ fishing boat.

Just finished the Mako. Sauted in Olive Oil and garlic, with
lime juice, pepper and oregano. Real good dish, fresh is best.

Dessert is Cherry Ice from The Lemon Ice King of Corona

52-02 108th Street • Corona, NY.

Flavor list, Pistachio is great too.
